Olde Worlde Ivybridge Pub, Restaurant & Hotel

Our traditional Ivybridge pub offers a wide range of local ales and ciders, plus a selection of wines, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages to suit all tastes. There’s no better pub in Ivybridge to visit for tipple, great company and cosy surroundings!

In the warmer weather our large beer garden is available for a quick snack or a glass of wine. Why not try one of our local real ales with a delicious lunch or one of our famous sandwiches? What’s more, we hold special barbecue events throughout the Summer, with tasty food, great music and a laid-back atmosphere, so you can while away the afternoon in style!

Our saloon bar has a separate entrance and is the ideal venue to hire for early morning meetings. At only £10 per hour and hot drinks costing just £2 per head, it’s easily affordable and makes a refreshing change to boardroom or coffee shop meetings. All beverages are available throughout the day, and breakfast, lunch or dinner can be arranged upon request. We also have free Wi-Fi, a screen and a flipchart holder available for use during your meeting.

Our large restaurant can seat up to 32 diners (With a further 38 in the bar area) and is tastefully decorated, with comfortable seating and gorgeous artwork. We cook delicious, traditional dishes seven days a week, using fresh and local ingredients to produce delectable breakfasts, light lunches and hearty dinners. We also have a special Sunday menu, featuring a traditional carvery and classic pub dishes for the whole family to enjoy.

The Sportsmans Inn isn’t just a beautiful Ivybridge pub, it’s also a comfortable and well-appointed 14-room hotel. Our rooms are available all year round, with a range of accommodation available, including twin rooms, double bedrooms, family rooms and our luxurious 4 poster suite. All rooms come complete with complimentary tea and coffee, local spring water and an en- suite bath or shower room. A full English breakfast is included in our prices.

Free parking is available to all hotel guests and The Sportsmans Inn is conveniently located a short drive from Ivybridge train station and the A38. Plus, we’re only a 15-minute drive from Plymouth town centre, so can provide a great base for anyone who’s looking for a slower pace of life and quaint surroundings. The Sportsmans Inn has full disabled access and disabled toilet facilities. In fact, we were the first hostelry in Ivybridge to become disabled friendly and even had the Mayor of Ivybridge officially open our disabled toilet!
